Een oliekeerring is een rubberen ring die om een as zit, die zich bevindt in het lagerhuis. Deze keerring zorgt ervoor dat de olie die zich om te assen bevindt niet naar buiten kan komen wanneer de assen hun werk doen. De oliekeerring kan ook gebruikt worden om vuil en andere water juist bij de assen weg te houden. Zorg er dus altijd voor dat de oliekeerring goed is aangedraaid, zodat deze nooit kan lekken.
